Week 1: The Warning Signs
There are zombies among us; not dead, but also not alive. The undead church is where genuine life has been lost. In some churches the loss of life is obvious; in others it is more subtle. This church can appear normal. There might be people smiling or greeting you but something is missing. The zombie church has shown its cracks over thousands of years. The church is infected and the longer we do nothing, the more it spreads. As we look at the problems facing the church, the easiest solution seems to be to walk away…but simply walking away because she is broken is not what God would have us do.
