Week 1- Lifting the Veil
Martin Luther was a reformer that God used to change the church. It is time to think about a new change that needs to occur in the church. Somehow we have it stuck in our minds that the church will never change, it will always be the way that it was when I was growing up. There are some things have changed but the church has failed to adapt as more and more people are leaving the church and not coming back. What happened? We can blame programs, staff, or rigid theology but I don’t think that’s it. A veil obscures the bride’s face, so the groom does not see it fully. It’s time to lift the veil and see things as they really are. Its time for a new reformation!
