We're excited to partner with the 33rd and 35th Wards, the 17th District CAPS office, and Drake Community Garden to host our first ever bike blessing!
Cost: FREE
Who can participate: anyone can participate in this neighborhood event!
What to bring: bike, rollerblades, skateboard, stroller, scooter or whatever your summer wheels are
When/Where: Sunday, June 13th at noon. Meet on the corner of Drake and Sunnyside Avenues in front of the church.
Why attend: to receive a blessing for safety and fun, to learn about bike safety, to enter a raffle for bike safety and security items, to decorate your summer wheels and ride in a parade through the neighborhood!
We'll stop at Drake Garden and check out the new programs they're offering.
